Personally I’d prefer more precision. It seems like the notion of “young person” is doing a lot of work here

That’s an estimate of the dolls thrown out from their storage facilities in the past few years, not total production, which is much higher.

Funko doesn’t give the count of dolls in their inventories that have been destroyed, but they had inventory mark-downs of $30-$40M over the past couple of years ($39M last year). If they value the dolls at ~20 each, that’s 3-4 million dolls in the past 2 years
