I don't think any of this is wrong, but I wonder if some of it is about young people being much more likely to be/have close friends who are queer or gender nonconforming and that's tricky (though not impossible!) to square with LDS membership

I'll go one further and say effective labor advocacy is *undermined* rather than served by arguing that workers should not be fired for incompetence. and what could be more incompetent than this in a customer-facing role!
