How it felt when my R01 score dropped last year…

Said farewell to Jen Adair who is heading to UMass Chan to lead their Gene Therapy Center. Couldn’t be more grateful to have gotten to learn from her scientifically & professionally. I’ll keep holding down the fort here, but it’s gonna be harder now ♥️ 🧬

We implemented a riser spice rack into our chemical bay to make it easier to see/grab the chemicals in the back. Form and function, would definitely work inside of fridges or cabinets as well 🫙🫙🫙

Easier said than done, but I highly recommend finding a Best Pal™️ who is at a similar career stage to share the good, bad, and ridiculous with. Sometimes you just gotta slide into someone’s DMs to ask if they wanna hang out and talk about PI things 😂🍹
