Yes. Historically, acquisitions like this have limited the availability of hundreds if not thousands of titles, increased licensing fees for venues, and stymied production of future films. Despite its flaws, Warner Bros. has been a decent studio distributor to work with on repertory screenings.

Once during an interview they explained the very low salaried position would be expected to work 7 days a week during the summer for various travel events with no pay increase or flexible schedule—just four months of 60+ hour weeks with 0 days off because "that's what the role required."
