Right-wingers in Eastern Europe are definitely not "poor people of color in developing countries."

This is why even when people keep talking about "building community" and stuff, I'm, like, nah, I don't want to interact with people.

Why don’t they just go out and say “I don’t want more housing because that would decrease my property value”? Same motivation, but least I would have a bit more respect for them for being honest.

I was really into philosophy and history stuff. Then I took a STAT101 class and found statistics very easy and I was good at it. It is not and I am not. It was just a class for liberal arts "dummies". In my blissful ignorance, I went all in and the rest is history.

Truly a door stopper. 😍

We conventionally called it KNNL. It seems like a million years ago. 😭

I know someone who is an econ by training, sits on the board of the most famous tech startup, and has been involved in crafting public policy at the highest level for many decades. Cherry on top, they live right in the area. Perfect candidate.

When you hang with bad people, bad things will happen to *you* and not necessarily to them. Guaranteed.

Lots of fangirling in that post. Do people, especially young people, even watch msnow?

It's harder to pay to have friends. Much easier to pay for AI stuff.

@bsky.app, let’s build this feature here. This is such a great idea.

Also, forgoing health care and dying unnecessary deaths because you can no longer afford to buy health insurance would be TOTALLY worth it. 😆

"The state's child care plan will be paid for by New Mexico's oil and gas revenues." 😆
For the record, I fully support this. A million times better than to use taxpayers money to subsidize Teslas and other EVs that mostly rich people buy.

A gaggle of bodyguards. Sounds like a miserable life.

Students can't be late in anything because that would be very disrespectful, but profs are late in all kinds of things from responding to emails, turning in grades, submitting paper reviews, etc. etc. 💀
November 20, 2025 at 11:17 PM
Tenured profs take their own sweet time to publish stuff, but students have to rush through all the classes and end up with very surface level understanding of the subject matters. I don't think that's fair tbh.
November 20, 2025 at 11:13 PM
UChicago and UW here in Seattle use the quarter system with 10-week classes and I hate it. 😆
November 20, 2025 at 11:11 PM
If students have 8 weeks to learn a subject, shouldn’t faculty members be required to publish a new paper every eight weeks? Obviously it depends on the field. Econ takes 2-3 years to publish a paper whereas compsci people turn out papers like humping bunnies. But we reduce the allowed time for all.
