MignonneHandmade makes really pretty hairpins that I've been saving to get, and Marie-Claude Roch occasionally has these super cute little figurines that I want to keep and treasure forever (but someone always buys them first LOL)

at a certain point (i'd say 1999-2003), this type of framed website was really popular. it only really works with low information sites, though. the method used back then not recommended for accessibility reasons, but you can get the same visual effect through other methods

going through internet archive of japanese sites from pre-2006 to find some inspiration for my homepage. really prefer simpler, javascript-light or free webpages. so sad that a lot of this stuff was only partially preserved...

Green Arrow was almost comically left-leaning for much of his past, starting in the 70s w O'Neil. His whole thing was being bit self-righteous but still far doing more than others were at the time

from what i understand, this comic is functionally just an advertisement for the next year of comics turned into a time-travel narrative, but i'm very excited that cable is in it... i love my man...

rewarding myself with some sales purchases that are more or less useful in daily life. i get cut a lot and customers often notice my bandages (in a bad way), so it's an excuse to get these ones.

i already have a big log of books to get, but it's mostly illustration or real-life architectural work. what i really like about seeing the built environment from an entertainment production perspective is how fearlessly they show the concepts being iterated over and over & by multiple artists
