Short update: after the first tough hour I found my style. Slow + stable. Could even overtake some tourists on scooters. Handling of a tank. Brakes? Who needs brakes? Drive forward looking is key to survival. Was it worth the try? Definitely. Would I do it again? Probably not. I remain a 2wheeler

Literally kicked a trash can (thank god made of soft plastic and it was empty) after 10 minutes with the sidecar off the road (it flew 30m easily + scared some Thais) - but that was really funny (at least for me - wifey found it quite less amusing). I am still laughing when thinking of it.

It’s my first time and after the first hour things are getting much smoother. You just have to forget what you have to do on a 2-wheeler and turn the handlebars instead of trying to lean in - sometimes life gets easier when you overcome learned behaviour…🤓
