Thread about writing but really applies to any art. Great message for those of us who worry a bit too much about being good at something and get stuck making zero progress.
This set of observations is produced by my scrolling Reddit and otherwise listening to people talk about "how to write."
A) there is no requirement that any of your characters has any sort of "arc" let alone a redemption.
B) there is also no requirement that your fiction has a plot.

As much as this team needs both of them, I sure hope neither rushes back. So many calf strains leading to torn Achilles in the last few years.
Jrue Holiday and Shaedon Sharpe are both being listed as "Questionable" for tomorrow's game against the Warriors.

Injury hits keep coming for the Blazers: Jrue Holiday still out vs. Bulls, Robert Williams III appears to still not be playing back-to-backs, Jerami Grant still questionable after missing last night with an illness ... and now Shaedon Sharpe is doubtful with right calf soreness.

It feels really good that I agree with the player's optimism. They CAN play much better. They have a decent talent pool and can compete with most teams. After the last couple of years it's great to have the faith that this game isnt indicative of how the season will go.
