This stands out in an already maddening article. Gosh, are there any disciplines - perhaps ones that we’ve spent decades gutting because they encourage these very habits - that could effectively prepare students for this apparent Value(s?) Migration?

This seems true of the entire sector. While I’m not generally a fan of Great Books curricula, the model of discussion-based humanities education - even as tutorials alongside lectures - is in high demand from students. Hated by admin and Boards.

Oxford has some nice libraries sure but it is ridiculous to think there is a more beautiful library than Robarts in Toronto.
