On top of whatever mental illness causes a person to believe they need a billion dollars, once they accumulate it, the money quickly warps reality and smooths out their brain irreparably. Did a little thread about this.
It's very clear that unlimited wealth causes brain damage. That's not an exaggeration.

It's similar to other unnatural human conditions like solitary confinement (which is widely understood to cause mental deterioration) and other types of sensory deprivation.
Someone went there:

The Amazon music advert I can’t escape (dull son makes crap playlist for poor mother having to do all of the Christmas tasks) is so bad it is putting me off podcasts.

Foden had so many chances today, if only he could have put them on a plate for himself

Two legit Arsenal goals ruled out, so disappointing.

Quite a suitable punishment really, if you fake a serious head injury to try and stop an opposition attack you should be forced to wear a water polo cap for the rest of the game.

That felt brilliant - having Liverpool’s ref in charge makes it worse during, but better when you win!

I feel like referees forget that a free kick is meant to be a benefit to the team that has won it.

The new episode of 'Return To Goodison' is now live. The true magnitude of my plight is now obvious. I have no friends and I am destined to fail.

Meanwhile, in this Football Manager fiction story, my character has no friends and is destined to fail.

This is such a weird performance - execution and decision making are both completely off.

It’s this isn’t it, the decision making that results in pass after pass that makes the chance worse, not better.
How about we take a shot, guys? Anybody?

So I think Little gets the ball, then James kicks into Little’s leg and goes down. Not a penalty, but we don’t want VAR and I understand the ref giving it. *Shrugs* Just bad luck.

A tiny 2% wealth tax, on 20k people would raise £24 billion per year to spend on the things that urgently need fixing in our country.

We need some tax justice - the more money you have the less tax you pay and vice versa - that’s absurd.
