I'd like to say I rescue animals but honestly they rescue me. I am an avid baker. I also cuss like a sailor so be warned. Blue dot in a red state.
I took this about 5 pm yesterday. So not quite a full moon but I loved that the sky was still blue.

I have one of these beauties that lives out in my horse barn. Here they are on the barn hose. They visit me every time I come out. No fear at all. It's like I have my very own Charlotte's Web 💙

I think it's even more important given that now the Coast Guard is coming out with this. None of this is good. And as a parent of a young man in the army I can tell you I find this all extremely unsettling 😕

While I stated before we had a Sadie that passed away....a few months after we lost her we got a call about a cat that needed a home whose owner had dementia. We took in Marbles. She looks a lot like your Sadie.

I was walking along the paths on our property & saw this plant. Thought it looked interesting so I decided to take an up close photo. And it turned out amazing. Never know the wonders until you take a closer look!

At least you got her jacket on. Our rescue Gilly, boxer/pitty mix, would NOT put her jacket on & then when she hit the cool air had massive zoomies 😂

We have 3 large dogs (90 lbs, 75 lbs & 70 lbs) & our 1 cat, Fiona, is tough bosses them around. Today she stole one of their beds on the screened porch.

Honestly if it wasn't for all my animals, there are times that I wasn't sure I would be thru this terrible regime. Animals always make life better. Even the little spider (on my barn hose) feels safe on my farm to come & check on me 💙

Why is no one talking about the fact that the conservative judges just extended the stay on SNAP to the 13th. WTF? The 3 liberal justices dissented. Now the GOP SCOTUS is willing to let children go hungry? 🤬

I was walking our property yesterday & saw these mushrooms growing on a stump. They had covered the entirety of the tree that was left. Your pics are cool!
