Last night I took my daughter to watch the OCDSB vote on its Alternative Schools program. She attends and loves her school and is deeply invested in its future. She cheered the trustees trying to save it but, in the end, the vote was to cut the Schools, led partially by her trustee Suzanne Nash.

I skated the entire Rideau Canal aka the World's Longest Skating Rink in Ottawa today going from one meeting to another. Pretty fortunate to live here.
