which character r u playing? and generally blocking works very well with beast cannon since it has lenghty recovery, but a lot of attacks can punish it since talbain's hurtbox is huge compared to the hitbox in this move, so it's easy to punish someone reckless

I just finished Gargoyle's Quest 1, it's a pretty neat game, it's not that hard but it's still decently challenging, i really like firebrand's moveset and i also like how the levels are built around it, and the top down parts are very cute aswell, i would definitely play it again someday
