I’m not quite sure how scotch eggs ended up as our New Years Day tradition but here is the 2026 batch. Ugly this year but very tasty! Made cornbread as well for extra luck because the eggs alone didn’t help 2025 be very good

It’s 65. We are under a tornado watch. I’m grilling pizza. Tomorrow at this time it will be 18.

So tomorrow is back too winter hell but today is 65 and I’m out at the tiki bar enjoying the weather and going to put a pizza in the outdoor oven soon before the storms and then cold gets here.

Adopted him and his brother since they were a bonded pair (last two from the litter as well) shortly after we lost our other fat tuxedo to cancer - his brother is no where as large lol. Rebel (the huge one) was the runt of his litter lol

I post about my beloved Bulldog Dozer quite often but my wife’s little pug, Chandler “Mr Berf”, was a pretty special guy in his own right. But are still loved intensely and missed horribly.
