“Booooo” the entire time. It can’t get more contentious than it already is and it would send a very strong signal that there is serious descent. People like my sister only see what Fox shows as news. Hard not to hear people “booing” and no matter how it is spun that sound might linger in their minds

I didn’t know Target was one of the corporations ending these initiatives. Guess I’ll be adding them to my Boycott List.

You are engaging w/ fictional arguments. This isn’t about the price of eggs. It is about suburban and rural racism. My sister has chickens who lay eggs. She voted for white supremacy and will never admit it to herself. They fear black and brown and believe woman are inferior. We need better stories

Start meeting a couple of friends weekly or every other week for lunch r coffee or an evening walk. Community will help. Be around the good folks you care about. It will help you carry the burden of the bad people in the daily news.

Yes, but I’m trying to remember the teachings of Stoicism. Worry about what I can control and let go of what I cannot control. That doesn’t mean giving up in a cruel world. It means digging in where I can make a difference, speaking up for someone, offering friendship and protection to someone, etc…
