Oh no! That does indeed suck and I am sorry you guys are missing the things. BOO. Keep blowing up our notifs, it’s all good (some of us are probably hiding in the bathroom from scary family, anyway and appreciate the entertainment - not that I’ve ever had to do that, nooo). Sending well wishes!!

It is an overgeneralization, of course! There are always caveats and reasoning and experiences that negate generalizations.

I think Reddy nailed a viable interpretation up there. To piggyback off of that, dogs in the general sense are friendly, loyal, gentle souls. Someone saying they don’t “like dogs could suggest to dog-lovers that their soul is dark because they fail to recognize the inherent goodness of a dog.

I think Reddy nailed a viable interpretation up there. To piggyback off of that, dogs in the general sense are friendly, loyal, gentle souls. Someone saying they don’t “like dogs could suggest to dog-lovers that their soul is dark because they fail to recognize the inherent goodness of a dog.
That’s different than saying “I don’t like dogs”, which is often a red flag to people. Discomfort around them, though, is about understanding why; whether there’s experience & history there. Thinking dog pictures are cute suggests to me that you like dogs from a distance & as others’ pets!

I am bummed I cannot be in attendance due to a previously planned event I am running, but am looking for other ways to support the voices on Saturday!

I am assuming this is with the attorneys. I would ask how that notice was served and what documentation they have, who it was presented to/who signed for it, dates, etc..

They also cannot take every single penny. They cannot leave you without money to pay your basic living expenses. That is supposed to be protected as well. Calling them immediately was the right thing to do.

Have you contacted the bank already? They are required by law to protect a certain amount, especially federally funded money. Like, orotect two months of federal income, like SSI. Do you know if you were sent a garnishment exempt form at any point recently?

Spouse decided to FAFO last night by saying “whatever” to blow me off and dismiss my point, because apparently only THEY can be stressed and overwhelmed - but I will count it towards FRIDAY. The heat has been dialed up since last night! PETTYLUJAH, indeed!!

OMG, I LOVE CHICKENS. I had a pet Banty for 7 years. Sadly, I am in an HOA neighborhood that will not allow chickens, but I sure get excited when I go ANYWHERE that has them!

It is. It makes me want to cry. I don’t know what is going to happen for 2026. Everything I earn will be paying just for insurance if it goes up as much as they say.

THIS. My husband and I are both independent contractors. I make $50K/year. Our family insurance through the ACA Marketplace is $24,000/year. It’s killing us, but we also know how desperately needed insurance is. We’re making it work, but that’s half my income! Many cannot make that work.

Oh my goodness, it really is a blueprint for MAGA women. I don't understand the obsession with all the cosmetic surgery to look exactly like that, and overdone with fake things. I would have sworn at first those side-by-side pics were two different people.
