Earlier this month, CRiS researcher An-Sofie Vanhouche participated in a workshop of the prison working group of the European Society of Criminology in Timisoara, Romania. She also visited the prison of Timisoara — an institution focusing on learning opportunities for imprisoned persons.

Op 10 februari verwelkomden we Mieke Kox (EUR) voor een 'Author Meets Critic'-sessie over haar doctoraat "Unravelling Unauthorized Migrants' Legal Consciousness", waarna een paneldialoog met Sofie Brys (Coördinator terugkeerloket Brussel) en Floris Liekens (Doctoraatsonderzoeker) volgde.

This week, professor Lars Breuls and professor An-Sofie Vanhouche traveled to Denmark with a group of students to explore the country's criminal justice system. They visited the University of Southern Denmark, the police, prisons, the Red Cross, and a harm reduction organization.
