Yannick is a murder freak because no other form of self-actualization was ever available, safe or effective to him. He establishes his position in the world by the means of violence at bigger and bigger scale. He does not enjoy the act itself and can delegate it so someone else, save for the really important, personal targets. It is the most assured way to get the job done correctly, but it doesn't have to be him. (does it?) Eloise is a murder freak because violence is an efficient tool of exposing a person's core to her. To push someone to violence or to inflict it upon someone makes it easier to see them in their barest, most honest form (to her). She does enjoy the act in its rawness and pure brutality, but any other way that accomplishes it is just as good to her. (is it really?) Leikki is a murder freak because violence is a ritual to be reveled in. If done correctly it brings them closer to their god's essence, but it must be staged, performed, witnessed. Otherwise it's just a butchery, a domain of beasts, and they are not a beast - they are a faithful servant who enjoys the act only as far as it is demanded by the deity. (is it demanded?)

Also Mollymauk's dice first rolled two nat1 in a row, couldnt get above 10 for half the encounter and then busted out a nat20 when it really mattered, which is very on brand

#WIPWednesday and a bit of Finley's backstory (in his vampire AU) that I'm writing sometimes, some fun with switching perspectives.
After all that I was hanging around Beaumont, figuring out what to do with myself now that my big goal had all literally gone up in smoke. Weak, lost, barely a dime to my name, I had to swallow my pride and reach out to local vamps, maybe find a nest, or else I’d be an easy target for any half-baked hunter around. Was just about making myself known, when she found me. Sybille was her name, and she was… She was an apple and a snake and the garden of Eden. I had partners before, but noone like her. Sybille was my lover, my teacher, my safe heaven and my executioner. She whispered how precious, how talented I am, how she’s gonna make me her equal - all while tightening a chain around my neck. I wasn’t completely stupid - I knew there were others, an army of young vampires at her beck and call, and I knew I was there to do her bidding, no matter how disgusting it was - but when I was with her, nothing of that was important. Only her arms, her voice, her approval. …she was something else alright. A matron of a nest, if the nest was a web and she was the spider at the center of it. What can I say, I was young, weak and inexperienced, and primed to end as a collateral to Sybille’s power-hungry schemes, while kissing her feet all the way to my grave. I wish I could say I just broke off on my own, but the truth is, it was a hunter’s bullet that took her out of commission for a week. Two days without her siren songs and I realized that I am not, in fact, my goddess’s most special boy, but rather one of many thralls dancing to the pull of her strings. I want to believe it was mind control, at least partially, otherwise I had to face the reality of what I did for her out of my own free will. And how desperately stupid I was.

its a bit of a learning curve, but it definitely leads to much more pleasant experience :D
If you go to Settings -> Content&Media -> Manage Saved Feeds, you can fine tune your top bar, and whichever feed is on top of the list will be your default on boot!

Listen to me. Listen. If you're making images that will only be displayed on screens, YOU HAVE TO LET GO. You can calibrate your screens perfectly, but then 25k people will see it on their shitty $50 monitors or cracked phone and its out of your hands. Don't think of it. Achieve enlightenment.

I'm so happy with Lilith's face after the C+ treatment... it's a subtle change but it really lowered the "empty-eye doll" factor that femras sometimes have.
