Wishing Conveyance well stateside at Centre Film Festival, which takes place in the century-old cinema palace, The Rowland Theatre, Philipsburg. I didn't get to go in person but I'm consoling myself that the storm would have scuppered me anyway. Thanks for having us! centrefilm.org/2025-films-s...

What better way to get terrified than to sit with a bunch of strangers in the dark & watch the imagined horrors of fellow warped creative minds? It was LOVELY heading up north to do just that. Thank you to the gorgeous team at the Belfast International Horror Festival.

Alan O'Gorman's writing in Christy is warm, empathetic, funny & so well observed. He's a principled artist with a lot to say, so make sure to listen to our Film Ireland chat with him here, and then get to see this brilliant Cork film while it's still in cinemas!

If anyone’s planning to go to the cinema this weekend, make it your business to see Sanatorium. Fingers crossed it will represent us at the Oscars - and honestly, it’s just a truly gorgeous film. And cinematic.

I was singing its praises on Arena last week:
