fascinated by the degree of disdain i see for christmas vacation by zoomers on tiktok, not that you can’t have critiques of something having aged questionably—of course—but clark having a fantasy about a woman in his pool is like… pretty tame?
men in movies be like "i'm gonna cast a super hot woman as my wife, like the most beautiful woman you've ever seen- but i try to cheat on her all the time despite me being way out of her league and her loving me unconditionally" I feel like most movies are made to appease men in some way. Especially movies made before the 2000s. To keep men entertained. This is why they play sports at almost every restaurant. And not kid shows. & There are no good tv/ movie dads This is why I refuse to watch this movie No cause they should make a version without this scene for when you watch it w your family Makes me sad bc he's married too and his wife is just there while he always has these fantasies Why do they have to add these things in Love that movie but hate that scene, it's so awkward watching it with my family
