when you talk up a book, talk up the people who made it. authors, shout out your cover artists. creative teams, yell about each other. publishers, PLEASE for the love of god name the team and not just the celebrity. erasing human contributions erases the idea that PEOPLE CAN MAKE THINGS

humans have ALWAYS been able to tell stories. it is one of our oldest and dearest accomplishments. children tend to be very good at it. i am sick and tired of greedy adults trying to make kids (everybody, really, but ESPECIALLY kids) feel like suddenly they can't possibly do it on their own anymore

It's so incredibly rude. Complaining about prices will not make them magically lower. If you appreciate an artist and want to support them, you wouldn't complain.
Also. Don't like the prices? Then don't buy it. Art is a luxury. I don't understand why people act like this is a foreign concept.
