Absolutely, just very angry with the papers because I knew someone would think I’d done this with them in partnership which is so far from the truth.

Tbh I’m very far removed from anything on here or Twitter now, I’m just recalling a few beefs from years ago, understandable that I would be angry given the context of your post, all is forgiven just wanted to make sure you had the facts.

It was also filled with inaccuracy and missed out lots of important information, obvs not remotely surprised as it was rewritten by the Murdoch bunch.

I won’t ever be doing it again and I’ve told the charity as much. This was originally done for their monthly news letter but it tied in with their research in the link between diabetes and pancreatic cancer so they wanted to push the story for wider awareness.

Thank you! I’m dyslexic so corrections are helpful, I’m far too old and tired for beef so I’m going to bow out here, just wanted you to understand context, always good to know the facts before going after someone trying to raise awareness for cancer.

Unstable because you start vendettas with anyone and everyone, you’re very well known for it. Why so offended by everyone Jen? It’s not healthy, just scroll on by and mutter under your breath like everyone else, to go after someone discussing cancer is just bizarre no matter the context.

That was 11 years ago and also done by someone I followed on Twitter who was freelance and had said it had been pitched elsewhere, yes I am taking action. Surely you’re aware the media can’t be trusted? I’d wrongly assumed as it was via a charity it would be unproblematic.
February 6, 2025 at 8:29 AM
Ps it absolutely didn’t pay! It was done via a pancreatic cancer charity, you really are quite an unstable woman, imagine being so offended by an article written for a charity.

I hope this helps settle your very worried mind and that you can now find the peace that has alluded you for so long. Re: the previous article you’ll be pleased to know I’m now menopausal and that insatiable drive has left me 😊 as it was 11 years ago I’m amazed you still remember!
February 6, 2025 at 8:25 AM
Hi Jen, sorry you’re so angry about so much! But just wanted to clarify that I gave the charity permission to send out my Mums story to The Mirror, to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer, I in no way gave the Sun or the Mail permission to print their inaccurate stories and have complained.

My aunty (by marriage) discovered she had a sister that her parents had, had to have adopted pre-marriage, she only found out about her in her 30’s 16 years after their Mum had died. They’re like literal twins! And remain very close.

I haven’t but if I don’t get my bran and banana I’ll be backed up for days.
