Morning everyone - pleased with the way we fought back to draw with spurs but pissed at the way we conceded. Is it me, or does Šeško look bereft of confidence? I can’t see him being another Højlund ultimately, he seems like he has much more to his game, but it is a concern.

I have to say the ladies did brilliantly again today! I still think the loss of Grace Clinton is massive, however recruiting Jess Park in exchange was a masterstroke! What a player! Her understanding with Ella is telepathic too. What a shame we couldn’t have kept Clinton as well as signing park!

Well. I think the thing I took most from the forest match yesterday is that Amad -as ace a player as he is - is not naturally defensive minded. If he’s isolated defending at RB, then Yoro needs to be aware of this and move across to cover with him but We didn’t lose

Slot appears to be digging himself a bit of a hole? Had to backtrack on Utd’s style of play last Sunday saying it was complement not criticism and also now Eddie Howe has responded to him apparently calling Newcastle a small club? Teams will set up differently against you Arne to beat you! Simples!

And it pains me to say it, but with the team Arsenal have currently, Gyokeres should have hat tricks every game. The chances they create are ridiculous-hence my questioning of his quality.

Lukaku at Utd was like Gyokeres appears to be at Arsenal. Big battering ram of a striker who knew where the goal was, but never scored decisive goals. Always the later ones in a rout or the consolation in a loss. Time will tell with Gyokeres I guess 🤷🏽♂️

For me, Gyokeres is a championship level striker. He has strength, yes, but he seems to lack football intelligence and composure. You only have to compare him to Haaland & the chasm is clear for all to see. Yes, Haaland is a freak of nature, but the point still stands regardless of the player.

Also, is it me, or is arteta going TOO far in his praise of Gyokeres? He’s scored 5 goals. None pivotal. 3&4 and 4&5 in 4 & 5 goal routs respectively.

Morning everyone. I think Micah Richards summed it up. Our problem = constant changing of personnel & positions during a match. No1 knows where they should be or their job! RA doesn’t have players he needs, no, but Glasner doesn’t change personnel/positions & plays the same formation.

Morning fellow reds - thoughts on yesterday’s match with Chelsea? I have to confess to questioning why we replace a CB every match. Only thought for me - RA wants interchangeable, fluid, ball playing CBs who can carry the ball. We aren’t solid enough yet for that. We need the butcher back too!
