I’m gonna have to do a dive looking for some of the other films in the rotation.

There were a few Bill Mason films and one I’ve never been able to identify where this guy was the King of a garbage pile in a dump.

No clue why they used to show us these on the regular….

I started tapeing my vinyl so I could
Listen to it on my boombox in my bedroom pretty much at the same time I started drawing my own comics stories. Drawing and listening are linked in my brain at this point in time.

Can’t draw without music.

I’m old and music keeps me alive!

Have you ever seen the Buster Keaton NFB Railroader?

They would roll a projector into class for semi regular showings in my primary school.

Cross Canada travelogue basically but it rolls through Ottawa back when the tracks followed the canal. Didn’t notice that then so I’d love to see it again.

All the pairs I had were huge and baggy so it wasn’t a good look. 😭

All my pj bottoms were/are plaid. But either I have to get xxl so the legs are long enough, but they won’t stay up, or I get ones where the waist fits but they’re halfway up my calves. It’s not a great look. 🤣hence why my wife upgraded my work wear with the yoga pants.

I was wearing pjs to ‘work’ loooong before covid. My wife bought three pairs (different colours) of the same yoga pants from Costco to up my work outfit game as she got sick of coming home to find me wandering around in pj bottoms that were too short for me.

Mine sits in the dock of a rechargeable portable speaker that sits on my basement workshop bench. So it still gets used occasionally.

But I miss having it for walking around and yard work.

I’m jealous! Mine won’t hold a charge and I haven’t had much luck finding anyone to replace the battery.

I once found mine a few hours later sitting on top of the clean laundry in the dryer.

Must have gone to grab something to wear and put it down. I’d given up looking when I finally found it.

There’s a lot of willfully stupid people on the internet.

Says someone who’s never created anything.
November 16, 2025 at 4:30 AM
You sir, are a fucking moron.

Copyright exists to give creators the right to make a living off their creations.

Comparing that to hate laws is the dumbest thing I’ve heard today.

Enjoy your life of boneheaded stupidity. I’m out.
November 16, 2025 at 4:28 AM
Because it violates copyright. It’s right there in the name: “copy” “right”. The only person who has a right to make a copy is the copyright holder.

It’s not the amount of channels that is the problem, it’s that twelve conversations are going on at once in a Single room.
As someone who has trouble tracking conversations in crowded groups, it is just too overwhelming to try and follow.
November 5, 2025 at 8:45 PM
That is a perfect description. I can’t track any conversations on it.

🤣

Very cool!

But packing moss in between the logs ain’t gonna keep the mice out, I hate to say. He needs to caulk those gaps. Maybe a concrete of sorts could be made to seal.

I sadly speak from experience. 😭🐭🪤

I mean… I don’t think I could even INK that in one sitting! 🤯
