This was my first album (now out of print) in 2004 on Psychic Hamster Records. It was called Practical Hypnotism and had ten original songs and one cover song. All the songs were written and performed on ukulele.

Painting in traditional egg tempera. Traditional egg tempera paint (at least how I use it) is achieved by mixing dry pigment with raw egg yolk and thinning with water. It dries fast and slightly translucent and works best using a small brush. I use claybord as a support.

by the way, this is my well-loved copy of the diary of Anais Nin, which I highly recommend for all humans. and the standout in the film "Henry and June" was Maria de Medeiros, who played Nin.

For larger paintings I find it useful to work out color harmonies in advance...to do a color study. This is the color study for "dancing dog, standing stones"
