Definitely. My question is will there ever be people punished for this? I’d like to think so but given the history probably not. Unless thenIS regains its senses.

Calling him keystone cops is insulting the keystone cops. I think he’s worse. If that possible.

As an Afghan vet this hits close to home. I’m glad they were able to get out. I’m sorry how it turned out.

It’s been a bit for me as well. Really the only thing I miss is some of the people I talked to over there I haven’t found here.

I remember in 1983-85, we were posted over to England on exchange posting. We had access to this base to use the PX. We would sometimes drive up there and not gain access either because of the protests or because special flights were coming in.

It’s just the engineers practicing. They’re getting ready to join the Canadian Geese.

I took part in the veterans march the last two years. I didn’t do it this year. It’s something I’ll never forget. Peace is worth fighting for but war should always be the last resort. It causes so much damage not all of it visible. I don’t think any escapes unscathed.

I try to go out of my way not to get free stuff or military discounts. I did it one year a restaurant offered a free meal, desserts still cost,

I followed her on the other site. She is very dedicated to giving theses soldiers their identities back. It can take years for the process to be completed and a lot of things have to go right to solve a mystery over 100 years old.

A local GTA radio station mentioned this fact this morning. They basically said if it wasn't for the song, most people would probably have never heard of or remembered the sinking of the ship.

This is a great organization. In my day job I can come in contact with homeless vets. I have their number in my phone for these cases.

I remember getting to see the tunnels in 2006. My wife and I visited Vimy Ridge and while the tunnels were closed, they would open them if there were Canadians there. It was nice there was only 4 of us (my wife and I and a British couple).

It's something you'll remember for the rest of your life. I can still remember some of the things my daughters said when they were younger.
