I was a boy in the village doing alright. Then I created Sofia the First, Elena of Avalor and Firebuds. You know, for kids.
They may have consulted our design team about the wrap she uses when it's cold (I can't recall) but that would have been it. Much later on, they asked me what I thought of how they were using her in a holiday display at Magic Kingdom, which was nice of them to do. Usually, they do their own thing.

I was just doing some temporary background voices. I generally leave the real characters to the pros.

I've mentioned this in other places - we are not using the Protector storyline in the new show until maybe way later. We want to establish Sofia's new school and friends first. So no Skye any time soon.

It's a little of both but we don't really define why in the new series - at least not immediately.

Yes, that was meant to be the last one but the network held the S3 holiday episode to air it in December. So Sunkin Duncan is the series finale, but the upcoming holiday episode will be the last new episode of Firebuds aired. It's a fun one, too.

Folks who are new to the show could easily go back and watch the original Sofia afterwards. It will feel like a prequel with a different animation style and look.
