Finally finished the full Godot tutorial and decided to do some bonus features to flesh it out more.
Extras:

Finally made the switch to using VS Code for my gdscripts. My experience with UE5 had made me cautious but with Godot it seems to be pretty seamless. Guess I'm going to miss dragging nodes directly into the code editor but it seems worth it.

Anyone have a resource for game design documentation creation or a template? Looking to scope my next game's mechanics, features, etc.

If you told me 5 years ago we would have to start a counter-tech movement to poison AI models in real life, I would not have believed you.

One thing I've been finding more frustrating in game dev than in software engineering is that debugging appears to be an order of magnitude more difficult. I suppose it will get easier with time.
