I have better luck writing in the mornings, when my brain is still fresh and hasn't been tortured by spreadsheets and email chains. By 5 o'clock I'm not good for anything except eating cookies and reading fanfic 😆

Yep, I absolutely hate it. If you're willing to use AI for the cover, why do you think anyone's going to think you didn't use it write what's inside?

The dystopian has amazing worldbuilding, but no defined characters.

I started playing DnD a few years ago and have taken a few things from character sheets to incorporate into my writing. I also like to imagine which class my characters might fit into, rogue, cleric, bard, etc.

Also, Columbus wasn't someone who was really celebrated before Italian Americans pushed for a day to combat prejudice against people of Italian heritage in the US. Can you imagine how much better we'd be if they'd chosen Da Vinci or Galileo instead?
