Fully agree. Easily my 2nd favorite mainline games after gen 5 (and a close 2nd at that).
The dex is peak, the story and characters are a blast, the game balance is solid, the deviations from the franchise's base formula were well-executed and refreshing, and the visuals are genuinely gorgeous.
