I remember there being a very similar series of sets called aqua raiders, was my favourite series along with space police and power miners. Feels like they'd all make great factions in a setting together.

Absolutely, the game was always better when it was balanced for fun, you could do dumb shit like 3 stack torbs, a bastion, Reinhardt and mercy for a stupid moving weapons platform (until dva nukes you). That game was so fucking fun but blizzard just destroyed it. Seems like a lot of games

Biggest thing that helps for me is to go and explore other places if I hit a wall, its great if you don't run out of places...

for me it's just the difficulty, I actually prefer the gameplay of silksong, but the skill floor feels much higher then even the late game of hollow knight. I've hit a wall with a boss that I have to beat to progress, with no other options. For some reason this boss is taking more then radiance did.
