Me, a Sagittarius, looking at all the other bajillion people in the world who are also a Sagittarius:

Surely we can't *all* be kung fu fighting?

NEW: a contractor is paying random people $300 to physically track immigrants for ICE. They're given addresses, vehicles, told to monitor the target. That information then goes back up to ICE. These are not licensed private investigators; members of the public

Reminder from your friendly neighborhood emotional wreck: If you feel like you're about to start crying for no reason in the middle of the afternoon, your blood sugar is probably low. Have a snack.

79-year-old Paul Bojerski was born to Polish parents in a WWII German refugee camp. His family legally emigrated to the U.S. when he was 5.

He’s been taken by ICE in Florida.

Sanford grandfather, born in refugee camp, nabbed by ICE after 70 years in U.S.
Paul Bojerski never gained official residency, but he checked in regularly with ICE for years. Then in July, at age 79, he was detained and sent to Alligator Alcatraz.

All of this is super disturbing, but this line from the research article made me laugh like a jackass.

I'm in a silent battle with whatever keeps knocking my black cat magnet off the refrigerator. I think it's probably the same thing that knocked the mirror off my wall.

It's Monday morning and I have a migraine. Hell yeah, brother.

The lesson life is teaching me recently is that I can't dread tomorrow. What will happen will happen whether I dread it or not. And if tomorrow doesn't come, the dread never helped anyway.

I love poetry for the same reason I love looking at paintings:

It may be a bold, towering statement with swathes of color. Or it could be an intricate abstract with meaning hidden between two disparate words. Perhaps it's deceptively simple, but that's its beauty. And sometimes it's just pretty.

If anyone needs phone numbers for shops that can repair a 2012 Diesel Ford F-350 Superduty in the Wasilla/Houston, Alaska area, hit me up. I just found a list of phone numbers from 2013 in an old notebook that I'm sure are still relevant.

Here on the Space Coast, we just had back-to-back Falcon 9 rocket launches. Roughly three hours between the two. That's a crazy schedule.

ASCAP just sent me a "where ya been?" email. Sorry, buddy. Since the last album, I've been in a perpetual state of contemplative suffering and haven't written a word worth seeing the light of day, let alone being committed to record.

I hate when I'm sad about something, but I can't pinpoint exactly what it is.

I hear music when my AC or heater turns on. And I know it's not music, it's just whatever weird noise is going through the vents. But it sounds like chimes.

Me: *wakes up just as I hear my cat puke somewhere*

Me: Ah, man. I'm gonna have to find where he did that.

*rolls over and swings feet onto the floor*

*SPLAT*

Me: ... Oh, nope, there it is.

I had no idea what this was, so on first glance, I thought it was, like, a bullet powered fishing rod that shoots the line waaaaaaaay out into the water.
Come around this from @Knightly_Hist on X, a 16th century rifled carabine and immediatly thinked to share it with @qsy.bsky.social :3

Special vampday greetings to Kirsten Dunst for running circles around a cast of grown ass men; to the cult leader for embodying Lestat as well as he did with the material that was available at the time and to Armanderas for being his own fucking thing and still being so iconic
And none for Rat Pitt.
