Protect Colorado's Future coalition was at the Capitol today to address a graduated income tax on the 2026 ballot. The proposal would lower taxes for 98% of Coloradans, while raising taxes on individuals making more than $500,000. Learn more about the measure here: copolicy.org/news/colorad...

In the wake of the Medicaid "unwind" & despite a budget increasingly restricted by TABOR, Colorado lawmakers took a stand to prioritize Colorado's health care safety net this session. We are thankful for for their leadership on SB25-290. More work is ahead - let's continue this collaboration!

CCLP staff celebrated the end of the 2025 legislative session with a potluck and karaoke! We had many wins this session alongside some challenges due to our state's budget deficit (thanks TABOR!) Overall we pushed for a better and brighter Colorado for all Coloradans. Stay tuned for our wrap up!
