I use a personal library software called Calibre and it has 3rd party plugins that can remove DRM from Amazon and Kobo ebooks. Amazon .kfx can then be converted to .epub; Kobo files are natively epub. I'm currently reading your Tyrannosaur Chronicles that I bought off Kobo and ported this way.

It's for people who want to shoot something but don't have the patience to go and sit in the woods for hours

Not just a USA thing, they also have game farms in South Africa.

And lion farms 🤮

I postbac'd at the National Wildlife Health Center in 2005-6. Helped with a cull of a very similar sketchy deer farm where the guy had been warned that his deer had #CWD. He smuggled several dozen bucks away before the feds came in and culled the rest.

The necropsy samples came back 80% positive 🦌💀

Still better than Malaysian civil servants' conventionally obsequious "Saya yang menurut perintah" = I who am following orders
November 20, 2025 at 3:48 PM
Some of the older civil servants here use acronyms like "V/r" = Very respectfully. The one that confused me was "/s" till I found out it meant Sincerely, not Sarcastically unlike on social media

I switched to "Sincerely" after I read that Americans think "Best regards" (which I used at my old job in Singapore) is now considered archaic/sarcastic/cold/rude.

getting kids properly screened for adhd with providers that fully trained for it is also near-impossible for many families. it’s so hard to find any providers who accept new patients, regardless of insurance.

you won’t fix clinical issues in this specialty without addressing these underlying causes
