1 - Most people have never knowingly met a trans person and that's why it's so easy for trans-hostile politicians and media to dehumanise us. When people actually get to people like me and my fellow trans speaker colleagues, they realise that we are just ordinary people who want to be happy.

Reform UK's Leicestershire County Councillor Cllr Joseph Boam (who was demoted from being the council's Deputy Leader as he was "not up to the job"), recently put out this trans-hostile Facebook post about a council employee for simply wearing a lanyard with pink, white and blue stripes on it.

You may know me best from over-sharing about my gender affirming surgery in videos from my hospital bed, but I'm back at work now and organisations regularly bring me in to over-share to audiences all over the World.

I now have a plan of the incredible "Mil Veces un Instante" (A Thousand Times in and Instant) by Teresa Margolles, on the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square. The plaster cast of my face is on the second row from bottom, on the far right hand column of the elevation that faces the National Gallery.
