There is a war between the ones who say there is a war and the ones who say that there isn't. Why don't you come on back to the war? That's right, get in it
Is there a compilation vid of John Travolta dancing? I keep meaning to re-watch Saturday Night Fever.

Nygard never made the Three Comma Club, did he? So, who could it be now?

As someone using OVH's Canadian datacenters, I'm curious to know more about your threats from law enforcement. Not sure if you've already elaborated on this publicly.

Are you telling me "cost of living" is the only issue Dems poll well on? Your electorate isn't interested in hearing about values at all? Protecting racialized communities, equality for women, leadership in science, fighting corruption... why is the Party talk track this singular issue?

Hey wait! I recognize that specific tree, though. There's a story behind it which I will botch if I try to tell. Do you know the story of that individual tree in this video?

I'm on track 2 of that album ("Six Times") and let me just say: I'm in. Thanks for the reco! Reminding me of Stephen Malkmus, Pet Sounds, early Belle & Sebastian, and a bunch of other things. It's got a new and familiar feel at the same time.

I'm voting James Belushi

Did you prime it to be your sassy intern?

Ok I'll give it a spin... can't argue with names like David Byrne and Adrian Belew. But I have to say, when I think of the Catherine Wheel, I think of this:

I don't want to be the one, but someone has to nominate that post for the Louvre of 🦋. The thread really encapsulates American dem discourse ~ 1980 - present

I don't mean to accuse you of conspiracy, just that your comment follows the same tired pattern of wishing the Liberals could be more like the party right under your nose being what you wish. If Dalton McGunty and David Pederson are the high watermark, why do people still cling to this mediocrity?

Ironic that Joe is the only one here who can give it the space it deserves. I would have liked to have seen (heard) him bring out the feedback, but I know they arranged those notes for the trumpeteer instead. A fun rendition overall. Thanks for sharing this!

Strongly agree, but Stiles has really been hitting all the notes since then.

I just wish folks like @thestar.com and @shawnmicallef.bsky.social would acknowledge who is the official opposition and who is the 3rd party also-ran here. Crombie been newsworthy since her leadership convention.

Love how we still reference that one OpenSSL dev in Nebraska or w/e. Where's his tip jar?

The great Canadian economist JK Galbraith played a significant part in architecting this plan and the post-war world order.

Sadly, JK Galbraith has died. He was 97 (Economists live a long time - it's all that thinking.) JK was not one of the great economic theoris...

I've ended shifts soaked in whiskey, but at least you had an excuse. I wish I had taken a tour of the distillery & tunnels when they were still open to the public. Same goes for the salt mine.
