Considering what they make you go through for the security checks, I always wear soft, loose clothing with no belts or rivets, and shoes that slip on/off easily. Makes for a faster screening, and much more comfortable squashed in coach. Wearing fancy clothing won't help any of that.

If a kid gets home before their parents, they're in the perfect position to get the chicken out of the freezer so that it's thawed by the time one is supposed to start cooking. A kid might honestly forget, or might "forget" if they want to try to force their parents to order pizza.

Partner or kids who don't appreciate the planning it takes to cook a full meal, and when asked to do a simple contributory task end up forgetting (or "forgetting"), placing the additional burden of figuring out a backup meal on the cook.
