It’s supremely fucking stupid Republicans needed Dem votes for this at all.

EIGHT Senate Democrats have voted to advance the funding measure so far after the deal was reached:

Cortez Masto
Durbin
Fetterman
Hassan
Kaine
King
Rosen
Shaheen

If the existing 52 Republicans hold, that's 60 — enough to advance this agreement. Final vote still to come.

From Punchbowl (and stop with the conspiracies, this is happening, just a question of who the votes are):

News from a source familiar: “A deal led by the three former Governors (King, Shaheen, Hassan) has been reached and there are more than enough Dem Caucus members in favor of a negotiated deal…”

Dems finally have Trump sweating and poking the GOP Senate over the filibuster, it’s a strange time to be looking for an offramp.

The change in Atlanta city politics since I moved here is interesting — traditionally you had Mary Norwood’s (white) Buckhead vs Black southwest Atlanta but now there’s a huge progressive contingent on the east side in district 5:

Key wrinkles in the housing market right now:
-spending on things like home repair/renovations are at very low levels
-at normalized levels of prices there would be a lot of homebuyer demand
-home prices are very out of whack relative to both incomes and now resale inventory levels
