And adding more than "a new potion" or a "new spell" is quite laborious. I have many many ideas for more things to add, but I am hoping to use them in my next project, which I am just in the start of now.

So diabaig is "done" but I will continue to fix bits and add small things here and there

As a result, when I started diabaig, I structured the engine to allow for really simple content addition, allowing me to quickly add lots of creatures and items etc, but within limited parameters. Now, I have more or less filled up the "space" these

Potentially, but im hoping for bigger and better things. When I started diabaig I had one goal to simply complete it and not get trapped in so many early generalisations for infinite scope and ideas, which ultimately doomed so many other roguelike projects and prototypes

thanks so much jose. Im really glad you managed to have a shot and enjoyed it! It is simple and there are many shortcomings (and still a few major bugs) but I am really proud for having "finished" and published it

Often sad that I 'missed' that era of development

I think i like the InXXX best, InOutXXX makes me feel a little impatient and OutXXX makes me hold onto hard surfaces to not fall over 😅

Or a rabbit hole*

In any case, the basic interpolation of the heightmap seems to cause they bubbles on the local scale

Limbo is such a good idea

Thanks! Still got a long way to go to get through everything I hope is possible, but I have a lot of learning to do first

One of these faulted development on my wee roguelike for years, I just couldn't find it

Feels wrong to "like" this post. So consider this a "like", but for the post, not for it's content

Wild. Really looking forward to playing this

Ah wonderful ok. So the raw data are sprites and font characters that are printed either graphically or in the terminal, but your text mode is not a strict terminal right?
