Super into video games, music, and coffee.
Victim of Evangelion brain rot.
Good to know! Doesn’t surprise me on the rough edges though - Atlus seems to be allergic to anti-aliasing 🫠

I want to say this is one of the few S2 launch games that didn't have any parity to the S1 version, and vice versa. No upgrade path, cross progression, etc. I could be wrong though.

Incredible. Literally ordered one four hours ago for $60 and was able to cancel it to order this one (and change the color after I’d thought about it more). Thanks, Wario!

No. If I remember right, the version all the modern ports/remasters are based on is the PS2 version, which was locked to 30fps and couldn’t be changed. The GC version ran 60fps but for whatever reason, that’s not what the PC and modern console ports are built from.

Excellent breakdown, as always. Nintendo World Report is saying that the S1 version is running 540 handheld, 720 docked, and the S2 is running 720 handheld, 1080 docked. Does that sound about right in your experience? If so, I’m surprised by those handheld numbers 😬

This is more of an enemy bark, but I think about “ughh stupid cat” that the guards say in Dishonored a lot. I often say it when my cats are committing crimes at home.

This guide helped me snag a JSAUX Split case a few weeks back - thanks for putting it together. It does feel like a temp solution though. Interested if you guys test the Force Field 2 now that those are finally shipping!

Damn, incredible joke.

These series wide breakdowns are incredible! I’ve been looking to try a Ys title, so this is helpful!

Love this type of coverage, along with the testing of new, somewhat niche RPG releases across all of their handheld platforms yall have been doing.
