What role does Missouri play in the A.I. ecosystem?

Completely predictable. Mayor Spencer's new CEMA chief is a Republican who threw her a fundraiser during the campaign.

St. Louis is great because @sarahfenske.bsky.social can call someone a "county councilwoman-turned-witch" and it's 100% accurate.

Cara Spencer's theory of government is that sucking up to Donald Trump will somehow help the city. With today's news about the Trump admin revoking a $197m grant and killing a job-creating battery plant in north city, she may want to revisit that theory.

Unfortunately I have no plans of shutting up about the sale of one of our city parks to build a parking lot.

The weather forecast is cold, and there are additional emergency shelter beds available in the City of St. Louis tonight and tomorrow night.

If you or someone you know needs a warm bed tonight, call United Way at 2-1-1

Just for fun, here's what Cara Spencer said when FleishmanHillard left. I guess she hasn't "gotten serious" about investing downtown.

The way this is written it reads like Cuomo is agreeing about the hat.

Years ago, St. Louis voters updated the city charter to enshrine our right to protect our public parks.

Last week, developers, lobbyists, our Mayor, and members of our Board of Aldermen used a clever legal workaround to eliminate that right.

Best guess is that Mayor @caraspencer.bsky.social will quietly sign this bill without much fanfare. Then there will inevitably be a lawsuit, and it will end up in the courts, which will cost taxpayers more money than the parking lot could ever be worth.

BREAKING: by a vote of 10-5, the St. Louis Board of Aldermen votes to ignore the city charter, circumvent the will of the voters, and sell a city park to some developers to turn it into a parking lot.

Mayor Spencer is expected to sign the bill, and a lawsuit is expected to swiftly follow.

A few people have asked how they can get involved in preventing the sale of Interco Plaza without it first going to a vote, so I created a sample email and put together a list of Alder emails. Find it in this google drive folder: bit.ly/3LfBH1t

The Board of Aldermen will vote tomorrow on whether to give themselves and Mayor Spencer broad authority to sell off almost half of the city’s parks.

Am I losing my mind or is this not actually a cease fire? They very clearly have not ceased firing.
