I'm sure it was to fit with the theme of two clans but it seems lazy because there's no difference in the two but skin color.

Conna is very interested learning more spells or different magics of the source. While I don't show it often. In Connas den she has an entire what would be seen as a library of spell books / books on different herbs or flora. She would actually spend most of her time in the source reading
