I really hate to say this given our sadness over this obscene & terrible shooting, but if I’m from WV, we didn’t have a dog in this DC fight-the Gov should have kept our troops at home. The shooting however would have still victimized someone so it may not matter….sad

This press briefing is disgusting. Pirro & Patel playing the blame game on Biden’s Afghan with-drawl. They failed to mention the trump administration’s asylum approval of this guy in 2025. Neither of these 2 things is responsible for the shooting. A nut or a guy w a grudge and a gun are to blame

This shooting is not emblematic of a crime problem in DC-500 more troops does nothing to address this shooting. It's more of a gun problem, mental health issues, or something more sinister. Sending more troops means more targets for the disgruntled, mentally ill, or those outside of DC w/a grudge.
