Started my dad’s 1967 Volvo since it hadn’t been run in a long while. And drove it for a few blocks to make sure oil circulated and stuff.

AMERICANA is a pretty darn good film...great first film by a long time writer of some of my favorite shows (Poker Face, Longmire). Highly recommend. And not just because it has Zahn McClarnon in it.

After Patricia Rutledge passed, I found a show she did after KEEPING UP APPEARANCES…”Hetty Winthrop Investigates.” Her in a serious role is an odd thing. It also stars as her assistant, a very young Dominic Monahan in his second screen role. Not long before he became famous as a hobbit.
