An underlying factor in behavior of this type is a lack of immediate consequence, and I'm not talking about harshly worded emails or formal reprimands. Apartheid Clyde and his entitled little incel book club have never been punched in the mouth and it shows in how they interact with people.

Never did it (or anything) IV, but snorting small amounts mildly alters perception and has a noticeable impact on motor skills. Snorting larger amounts causes a 'k-hole' where you outwardly appear sedated but your mind is experiencing something like a psychedelic trip.

The law and the constitution only apply insofar as the institutions that enforce them choose. A law with no enforcement mechanism is just a suggestion. A constitution with no impartial arbiter is the earliest written record of future folklore.

The big D is an empty suit. It does not know how to organize or engage with people who do. It has ratcheted right for 40 years chasing the non-existent 'undecided' or 'disaffected' center. It has lost its focus and its base. The viability of the only other option being an option is gone.

Skills, and learn from others. The only way through is together, and we can't be together if we're not sharing our spaces and ourselves with the people around us.

Active approach to handling uncertain times, and the best way to do that is to find community. Build an inclusive and diverse third space with the people around you who share in your fears and anxiety. Share the things that give you joy, and be there for others doing the same. Share your (5/?)

There is no functional opposition in red districts, which is why there are so many fucking red districts. Their focus on winnable races is why there are so few winnable races. We find ourselves in the middle of what could quickly devolve into a coup and what do most of us have at the local (3/?)

Is precisely why. Dem Party has no mandate for popular policy because they don't create and foster third spaces. They don't meet people where they are. They couldn't organize a checkerboard. Their candidate development is shit. No training, no support at all in 'red' districts, which is why (2/?)

Deeper than that: Dem establishment doesn't know how to organize locally, won't listen to the actual left who is very adept at local organizing but not much else electorally. Dems need to quit chasing center as Overton shifts, embrace the younger left, and build something unstoppable.

In SW OH, county govs are giving massive tax abatements to huge corporations and town/city govs are giving them to residential builders/buyers, further straining the system. This legislature and state supreme court MUST be reigned in.
