Another day, another train journey. This time we’re in Bratislava for the day. Just having an Aperol spritz (€6) rest my poor back in a massive shopping mall. Had coffee and cake earlier in a stunning shop and I left inspired!

Currently on the Sound of Music tour in Salzburg. The guide is as camp as Christmas and hilarious 🤣 We thought he was joking about having a bar on the bus but no, champagne for €3.50 (but no glass!) #classychick 🥂

Just arrived at our hotel in Salzburg after trains planes and automobiles (actually a trolley bus) and how’s this for the view from our hotel room 🤩 Dumping our bags then we’re heading to old town for the Krampus festival

Obligatory airport drink. Off for a week, flying to Munich then train to Salzburg for 3 nights followed by 4 nights in Vienna with a quick visit to Bratislava while we’re there. Hoping I’ll feel festive by the time I’m home!

On our way home from the British Ironwork Centre after a delicious afternoon tea with my hubby and our friends which was my belated Christmas gift to them. It’s an amazing place and I treated myself to this beauty 💙

So on the 3rd attempt I finally found my stone! I also managed to walk around more of the stadium and (as we all know) it’s so bloody impressive 🤩 Makes me prouder every time I attend 💙

Set up camp for a weekend in Bala in #BettyBlue our campervan. Nice little fire going and about to BBQ, or rather the hubby is as obviously I’m a woman, and fire and BBQ are men’s work!

Currently melting in 35 degrees in Piazza del Campo, Siena waiting for tonight’s practice race. I’m not going to watch the actual race as I can’t stand for 4-5 hours so at least I can experience a taste of the atmosphere. We’ve pinned our flag to the mast supporting Drago, where our apartment 🐉

Limoncello spritz to celebrate climbing up (& down) the tower at Piazza del Campo in Siena. 600 steps in total but worth it for the view of the piazza in n preparation for the big race. On 2 bad ankles from a bite last week needing antibiotics & a knock to the other, I’ve earned my drink! #cheers

We’ve travelled down to Siena today to enjoy the build up to the Palio (horse race). The 1st photo was taken of the local Contrade parading outside our beautiful apartment. The others are of Piazza del Campo getting ready for the big race on Wednesday.

I’m off to bed now after an emotionally exhausting day saying #GoodbyetoGoodison 🥹I managed to get a few group photos of my @evertonfc.com “family” in Upper Bullens before we went our separate ways forever. So pleased I got to celebrate 2 final goals with my mates before we sit elsewhere in BMD 💙🥹😭
