A NYS law makes it convenient to recycle leftover paint and cans through drop-off sites at paint retailers. These locations are found at www.paintcare.org or (855)PAINT09. There is no cost to drop off your unwanted paint for recycling. A small fee on the sale of new paint funds the program.
PaintCare
PaintCare makes it easy to recycle leftover paint. In states with paint stewardship laws, we operate recycling programs on behalf of paint manufacturers.

Green tip of the week: Even natural toothpastes have ingredients that can be toxic to humans, animals, or the environment; including SLS, glycerin, titanium dioxide, limonene, and sodium lauryl sulfate. Also, the tubes are not recyclable. Instead, try mixing coconut oil and a little baking soda.

Green Tip of the Week: Bottled water is not safer, it costs more, requires 47 million gallons of oil/yr to produce, and causes 1.5 million tons of plastic waste.

Plastic is in our brains thanks to drinking bottled water in plastic.
