This may very well be true, I'm just looking for more careful, rigorous evidence. I see a lot of sweeping claims and cherry-picked stats about IOUs compared to munis/co-ops. These things should be pretty straightforward to study empirically

I haven't seen good analysis that IOUs are systematically more expensive than munis/co-ops, especially that considers differences in costs of service (i.e. munis tend to serve compact, denser territories that are cheaper on a per customer basis). Can you point me to any good studies that say this?

Note also the overwhelming silence in defense of their colleague from elected Dems. Maybe they're still waiting for the focus groups results to come back
