Don’t think self sufficiency is what people are looking for- during winter you can charge batteries on night rate mains supply and use it at peak rate times or as back up power during a storm. Many people have solar+batteries & oil or solid fuel heating- and need electricity for the circulation pump

Increased investment came in last government- but Regional Independents now converted "That's what we need to continue doing. We need to make sure that people have an active life and active travel...we need to make sure there's Safe Routes to Schools for rural schools, as well as our town schools.

I went on the platform formerly known as Twiiter to check what Grok says there about climate change and it answered several questions by restating at the top of the reply that it is driven by human actions with burning fossil fuels and deforestation at the top and that this is supported by data
