Agreed!

I currently hate the Chiefs more.

Happy birthday! Sounds like a delicious meal.

Stuffing. Always the stuffing.

Creamed corn is so tasty! Especially warm.

I’m in a group text where this exact point was brought up, especially if AI is used to read and critique a script.

Which reminds me of a story I heard where in the early 80s, as an experiment, somebody passed around the script for Casablanca under its original stage play title. Like 9/10 of the execs didn’t recognize it and would have passed. What?! How is that not undeniable?

We all surrounded by other concert-goers, so are we *really* there by ourselves?

But seriously, attending shows solo is fun!
November 27, 2025 at 4:10 AM
Wow, that’s awesome. Really illuminating what one tweak can change in a story.

Also reminds me of the old adages, “One person’s hero is another’s villain,” and “Everyone’s the hero of their own story.”

Oof, grief is rough, I’m sorry. You’ve got people thinking of you.
November 27, 2025 at 4:01 AM
My deepest sympathies and well wishes for everyone.

This reminds me so much of Seinfeld (and The Americans). The shows had people who believed in them, despite the ratings, and kept getting more episodes. Eventually the laurels came.

Obviously different with pitching shows vs shows already created, but the sentiment is the same.

I know most of them. Nerds unit! This seemed appropriate.

I'd get rid of green bean casserole.

Good thing you didn't edit it so the midpoint is on page 47 or 48 then. I mean, that's a "not-quite-midpoint" and we won't stand for that.
November 26, 2025 at 7:47 PM
Eh, the 2024 body sounds more poetic.

But I imagine there's been lots of cake. I've certainly had my share.

I'd really like them to fix the audio player. Almost every time I plug my phone into my car whatever was playing gets reset to the first song alphabetically; even if I was listening to an audiobook. There's no reason for that!

Nice that the pope is also conveniently ignoring Biblical canon regarding how many wives the Kings of Israel had back in the day. I mean, yes, I know those guys were Jews, but still, it's right there in their book!

I mean, everyone is after turkey!

I also LOVE that apron?

Is your oven or food cooked in it bigger on the inside?
